How do you remove the factory radio

Pretty simple job. Just Pull out on the two trim peices that are on the outside of the radio. Set them aside. Then lift your center console and take a phillips screwdriver and take out the two screws that hold that part on.
Next, unscrew your shift knob. ( If manual.) ( If its a auto you'll have to figure out how to get the console over the shifter.
With the center console off you will have complete access to the 6 or so bolts that mount the stock head unit to the dash.
Remove those and all you have to do is unhook you wiring harness. I think you have to un hook the a/c wiring harness to the switches to get the head unit out.
thats the trickiest part. one of the a/c switches has a weird connector on the back and its a kinda tight fit. I used a small flat tip scewdriver to get it undone.
Becareful it is delicate. ( I hooked up my Pioneer 9800BT with Bluetooth ect.
make sure you have a chrysler antenna adaptor unless stated differently by your aftermarket radio installation. And of course your wireing harness adaptor.)
Good Luck!
