Hey I have a 98 GT coupe. I want to install some new speakers and I don't know what type of clips/pins hold on the door panels. Anyone know how? I did the rear deck already.

First pull the bezel that holds the power window switches. Take the phillips screws out that hold the switch itself to that bezel. Then remove the two phillips screws behind that. Those screws hold the panel to the inner door skin. After that, just simply lift up on the panel and it will lift straight up and off. If you have Mach-460 just be carefull not to rip that tweeter grill by the mirror while removing or reinstalling the door panel. When reinstalling the panel, it makes it easier to remove the door handle bezel that stays on the panel. That part is not necessary to be taken off before you remove the panel itself though. It simply eases reinstallation.

Holy crap, another variation of the name. And yes, the door panel is an easy on/off. It's easier to just take off the 460 tweeters too to prevent any scratching or ripping.
