It allows you to advance the timing on our cars. You will have to run higher octane fuel depending on the timing advance.
It moves the stock sensor from inside the engine to the front of the crank pulley to give you the abality to advance or retard.

I already run 93 octane. But what I'm saying I guess is how many hours work will it be for me to put on & do I need a torque & impact wrench to do the trick?

I installed pulleys at the same time and it took about 1 1/2 hrs. An impact will help but is not necessary. Probably 1 hour tops.

OK. This is what I'm asking. Do you have to pull off the crank pulley to install the T/A?

Oh. You're right. I'm thinking about the Alternator pulley; you need an impact wrench for that. But don't you need a torque wrench when you put the crank pulley back on?
