Hey guys ive been debating for some time whether to install a TKO-600 or lentech in my vert and was wondering if I could get some of your opinions on how cumbersome it is shifting the TKO during everyday driving. (Goal is 450rwhp and it will be a all street car).

I love manual but I find myself in traffic quite a bit unless its the highway..

Also does anyone know the amount of hp loss between a manual and auto?

Ive got a daily driver with 300ish RWHP and a TKO-500. I like it so far. Feels strong, like above it was super notchy for the first 1k or so which kinda freaked me out, but after about 5k now it doesnt feel that much different from my T-5 accept maybe a little more vague. Been fine so far.

I had my tko600 for approx 2000 miles. It was good but it made the car seem half way sluggish. But i also switched to 15's at the same time so it could be that i was getting much more traction.

Far as shifting and everything i liked it more then the stock one because there was a lot closer tollarances and everything felt really firm and it made it feel like you were driving an all out performance car.

On the other hand i didn't like the taller first gear, which if you went with a tko-500 it would fix that. I really got use to the gearing on the t-5 and the switch was almost too much for me.

If i thought it was going to take the abuse and i wouldn't lose so much boost between shifts i would have kept it, but i traded it off for a built powerglide.

BTW that 2000 miles was normal driving. But due to gas prices it was a little more ecconomical to drive my $200 dollar dodge neon.
