probably a dumb question, but what effect does changin your fuel pressure have on your timing??? do u gotta change your timing when u change your fuel pressure??

the same thing for timing??

First off there are no dumb questions. :nice:

fuel pressure has no effect on timing and vice versa. However as you advance the timing beyond 10 Degrees this can cause your car to start to run lean in the higher rpm's. When this happens you will hear Detonation or "Pinging" as many refer to it. Detonation is bad. This is where an adjustable fuel pressure regulator comes in handy ( also referd to as AFPR ). When you advance timing and run into pinging you can get rid of the pinging by raising the fuel pressure. I hope this helps you out.
