This may not be an accurate representation, but it's an idea?

^ why do guys in stangs always agree to race from a roll? Get him from a dig and you should be fine. The 1.8 turbo is lacking in power at like 150/155 the V6 is only bumped up to like 180/170 and is still 3000lbs. How old do you need to be to race at your local track?

Slow stock. Somewhat quick modded. CobraRed, racing from a roll is great if you make power, you don't have to deal with as bad traction issues

true, but thats why you do a 10pmh roll, not a 50mph roll against something turbo'd

Theres nothin wrong with VW's...My daily is an 86 Jetta GLI, & although its slow, I love the way it looks....Those newer Golf R32's are bad@$$. U should be able to smoke a 1.8T though because most VW's arent that fast. They are nice cars though IMO....

This is off the subject, but I beat a brand new STI from a 3rd gear roll the other night. Granted, it was stock ( I think), but i was surprised because I though they where alot faster than that. I easily pulled about a car length on him.

if you can't launch your car from a dig or 10mph then you should look into a Supra Launching is one of a stang's best attributes

I'd love to have a nice big single turbo Supra...I have a video of a 2 supras and a c5 z06 vette racing (all of which are modded). One of the supras hangs back and lets the other supra and vette already get 6 cars ahead racing each other and then nails it and catches up in a fraction of a second. Pretty badass if you ask me.

Thats just what he wants you to think. He actually nailed it at the beginning, and was waiting for his turbo to spool.

im part of a HUGE vw family btw.. and the 1.8T makes 180 hp and revs fast. the vr6 makes 172 hp.. but is a sweet sounding motor. anyways, what im sayin is, the 1.8t golfs are semi quick and can be modded pretty nice, but a mustang would straight line take it anyday. nice cars tho

the newer vr6's make 200 hp...1.8ts can be quick but no match for stangs without biggers turbo and other mods.

i raced an 05 gti pushing 24lbs of boost, full exhuast and a tuner and i beat him by 1 car...so if he is stock, you should smoke him...stock gti's usually push only 10lbs of boost

24lbs of boost, and you still beat him. If that doesn't say it all right there, nothing will.
