Will make a good street car depending on how well the heads are done. should make anywhere from 245-270whp on avg.

i agree...should be a stout little street car. with some good driving and traction, you should hit 12's with that combo, depending on how well the heads were worked.

Not such a good setup, for basically any type of use.
Sorry to be blunt, but it's true.

Throttle body is too big.
Box intakes are for strokers or supercharged engines with some serious flow. This intake is for making power up top, where those heads are not going to flow.
Porting E7's is pretty much a waste of money (if you are paying for the work).
No reason to port an already too big intake setup.
A B303 cam is also another waste of money.
24's are probably too much injector.

If i had a stock engine, and someone gave me those parts, i wouldn't consider using any of it, it would go on ebay and i'd buy the right parts.

People assume since they add performance parts to an engine, the car will always go faster. It's not true, sometimes they mess it up so bad, the car runs slower.

Okay well you ripped his setup apart, but didnt offer any worth while information for the fellow. If the setup is junk then what would you put together?

Fair enough. My response was based on the setup not being his, his post sounded more like it was something he was looking into buying. I softened my earlier response up a bit, for ya.
Just depends on what he wants to keep.

For starters, i'd lose the intake for a cobra, gt40 or equivalent, then go with a 65mm TB.

The 24's could probably stay, but likely will be border line too much.

I'd lose the cam for something more agressive, even an E would be better.

I personally dislike ported E7's, but i guess if you got them and they are on the car, use them.

lol you are a good fella!

what does everyone think about the procomp heads on ebay? they look pretty clean and cost just about what it would take to port the iron gt40 or e7 heads. Im thinking about doing a GT40 intake setup, with the procom 165cc heads and a F cam... but then again im a converted Chevy guy who just feel in love with a 94GT so i have lots to learn about these motors.

Ok.....since the mods are all already on the car just completely blow off what 2000xp8 says. You can technically have a throttle body that is "too big" but you're not going to loose 1hp over it, this has been proven with numerous dynos. a "b" cam is a good step up for your mild combo, even though cams in mild combos don't net much horsepower on 5.0s. You could run 36lb injectors on a stock motor and they'd be overkill...but you just tune them down and their cycle rate is real low and they still work perfectly fine...once again, no power loss. I'm sure anyone with thumper e7s would argue that porting e7s is a waste, especially people putting 275 + hp to the ground with them. The only thing I would think about changing on your combo is the upper intake, box uppers will give you great top end power but you're being totally robbed of low and mid range torque. Find yourself an explorer, cobra or gt40 upper, dial in your fuel pressure and timing and you should be good to go man.

Dubbsix....don't get the procomps, they're a waste, save a couple hundred extra and get name brand. also, you'd be better off with a steeda 19 or tfs stage 1 cam with the 94/95 computer

Dyno's don't tell the tale of of the oversized throttle body.
Track times do, and i've seen it tested for a .2 loss. This done back before dyno's were the thing.
There's really no money to spend mac, you can sell the box intake and replace it with a gt40, or cobra, then do the same with the TB.
Besides, the opening on a cobra or explorer intake is not 75mm.

As far as 275rwhp hp with ported e7's, extremely unlikely.
I have a dyno list someone gave me, and not one of the E7 ported head cars cracked 250rwhp.
Even cnc'ed power heads don't get you 275rwhp.

292rwhp with the powerhead, 269rwhp with stock e7s and a gt40, and 255rhwp with thumper e7s, stock ported intake and steeda 19. I do agree about the opening of the intake though, it'd be much more efficient to trade down to a 70mm and have them port matched

The first car on that list may be the one i know going for stock heads and intake an 300rwhp. He spent alot of money to get that car to that number. It was a man on a mission. It's not a realistic number for anyone here.

The rest of them have ungraded valves, honestly no E7 is worth bigger valves. And even then the numbers aren't all that good.

As for 269rwhp on a 302 with stock E7 heads, stock cam and an intake, come on, you really don't believe that do you?

All the postings on that list had printed dyno sheets, why are you on a mission to not believe e7s have potential? We all know you can port out e7s to flow more than gt40s and P heads, and there's only 2 combos that don't have over 250 rwhp on there. I say let the guy dyno his setup and that'll tell the real story

OK, I might as well add my $0.02 worth to the debate. I also have ported E7's and a 75mm TB. The larger TB is NOT a problem so keep it. Just make sure you port-match the upper intake opening to a 75mm diameter. Your ported Cobra lower intake is good but I'd recommend you replace the Downs upper with a Cobra/GT40/Explorer version. The B cam is OK but you could get a little more out of it with Crane 1.7 roller rockers. The 24lb injectors are probably overkill but not a problem as long as the MAF is calibrated for them.
Overall it's a good street combination. With the two easy bolt-on mods I suggested it'll be even better. I've seen a similar combo put down 272rwhp/316rwtq and you should be able to run high 12's depending on how well the heads were ported.
