a mustang with PATS is rather difficult to steal. although there are places where you can get a PATS emulator that will plug into a key. the keys themselves are VERY easy to make. with a little practice you can make a ignition key for a new ford in under a minute. gone-n the way in which you asked the question is what got people all up in arms. if you had phrased it something like "i just got a 01 gt and i was wondering how hard they are to steal because i live in a bad neighborhood or whatever and if they are easy what can i do to make them harder to steal" then people wouldnt have jumped all over you.

The funny part about Stangnet's posts is that when someone asks a question like this, they get flamed and they'll still get an answer.

This is going to be one of those threads where everyone from talk comes over then they whore it out with at least 50 posts just so they can build their post count. I hope a mod deletes this entire thread!

if you've ever been inside/driven/etc a BMW, Lexus, Mercedes...you wouldn't be arguing with someone who claims they are built better than fords. period. end of story.

dont steal mustangs. most owners are very built marines(at least were i live).
i know one thing though, on a 99+ if you open the door handle half way when locked, there is an opening in the door metal to use a hook to unlock it.
but the ignition is a different story.

Is 4.10s too much gear for my car?

Also, I want to go with a twin turbo combination but was thinking of using a vortech and a kenne bell. Could 19 lb/hr injectors handle 1200hp?
