how hard is it

I have been reading and it seems like everyone says get a chip over a programer. I'm thinking about getting a diablo chip how hard are they install. Any links with instructions. Am i making the right choice with the few mods? If i finish my exhaust and do a maf sensor and little bolt ons should i get it reburnt or get another one done with those mods on a 2nd switch before hand

I had a Hypertech Programmer and liked it. It was easy to program and tune but it didn't allow any real tuning, just one generic tune that doesn't work well w/ mods. So I sold it and got an SCT Custom chip from JMS Chip for 325.00 burned according to my cars mods. The install wasn't bad... took about 30-45min. and you only need basic tools (rachet, sockets,wrenches). SCT offers a Programmer that includes a custom tune like mine for 425.00, and if I were buying again I would spend the extra 100.00 just because the programmer is conveniant and easy to use.
