how hard is to change....

does anyone know how hard it is to change a rear main seal in a 93 dodge dakota w/ 4 cylinder???? my mom's went out and i have to change it and am curious how hard it will be....i think i might need to pull the transmission to make it easier...or do they make something to help seal it???

There are products out there to help these things seal... not sure how good they are...

I had an 88 with the v6 and there was plenty of room to work under it so the 4cyl shouldn't bee too bad to do. Worst is probably removal of the exhaust to get the trans out of the way...
