How high can a stock 2v block be reved up too?

How high can a stock 2v block be reved up too? Say with cams and valve springs installed. Is the bottem end balanced to go up to 7k? New to the 2v world..

With the right cams I believe that people do rv them beyond 7k. Don't quote me thorugh

part of it has to do with the cams and the springs that it has on it so going aftermarket would be your best option, i would also consider swapping the botom end just for assurance

yea a forged cobra crank, upgraded pistons and rods wouldnt hurt if you wanna rev...OHC motors like to rev, it was plain silly to make our 2v's only able to rev to 6k...

these are ford cranks. they are nodular iron. they are as strong(nearly) as chevy steel cranks. 7k though. what he said. (cobra)

trade the revving for torque. cubes = beatdown LS's.
