I removed my lower intake for some issues. I just reinstalled everything and its ready to fire up. I put the black rtv sealant on the end rails between the lower intake and block. The tube says it cures in 24 hours. Do i HAVE TO WAIT THAT LONG before I run the car? How long do you suggest?
I typically wait the full 24hrs before I start the car up after using RTV. It becomes tacky after an hour, but the heat from the engine could cause it to liquify if not cured for long enough. Maybe I'm just anal, but I wouldn't start it up until tomorrow.
