Side stepping is literaly revvin to where you want in the RPM range, and givin her hell by steppin your foot to the side. No slippin or nice treatment, just lettin her rip.

oh hehe, so just droppin teh clutch then? i think i did that like once or twice when i got the car cuz it was fun drivin a stick. now when i wanna leave some tracks, i slide the clutch a little and then hit the gas. works like a charm with teh 225's and 3.55's

to clear things up... what's side stepping?

and in retrospect, i suppose my heavy duty clutch may have catalyzed my transmissions failure...

I call side stepping.... "dumping the clutch" anyone else, this might be a Canadian term??

to me it kinda sounded like heel-toe downshifting was being referred to, but that didn't make sense as it's not hard on your transmission to speak of
