bought mine in May of 99. Going on 8yrs.

I looked for 3-4mo looking for ONLY a 5.0 5spd, didnt "have" to have any other options. Looked and looked for a good deal with fair mileage at 50k. Got a loaded one and glad I got black (wanted a black one).

I never planned to mod it much as I was planning on doing some traveling, as I had the chance to do so but had to take a few years off school do to it, and then getting back into school. A catback and gears is all I really planned on. I thought I might sell it for a newer model within a few years.

When I got back into school I just kept finding parts when I had some extra cash. just plain fell in love with it. I dont ever plan to sell it now, and the wife loves it too...unless it was for a fairly good starting point but not finished 32 3 window coupe...maybe I would trade or sell but I hope that does not happen.

Feb. 1997. So not new but over 10yrs, barely. The 5.0 is what attracted me to it, that and my dislike of the '94 Topaz I was driving.
