I just got off the phone with the robot lady for my 06. She told me there was no status info for my car. Does this mean the salesman never put the order in or is it too early? Dont think its too early cause some claim to have vins and c/u for theirs. I have a vehicle order comfirmation from the dealer but that doesnt mean it made it to the factory right? Someone let me know if i should be pissed right now or not. This is the first car ive ordered so I dont know the whole process.

I think you should be in fords computer,i was within a week and i am at C/U....Johnny

it took my order over 2 to 3 months to get entered in to the computer and for her to start giving me updates on the status of my car. it's a hot car, and if you ordered from a smaller dealer it's going to take 3 to 4 months to get the car. be patient, your car WILL be delivered to you.

What does C/U mean?

C/U is clean and unscheduled.

I gave the order to the dealer in early June. Gues ill give it a bit more time and just trust my dealer did fine. Its tough to be patient when i see one out there everyonce in a while and wish it was me driving it already .

But my day will come.

You should be pissed and burn the factory down !!! Or you could realize the following, Ford is on vacation right now so there may be no one updating the computer system, Ford is still building 05's for a while and your 06 will be in your hands before you know it. There are plenty of us out here waiting for our 05's still (mine will be right at a 6 month wait when / if it arrives).
