Yo. The title says it all. I am about to use a can a seafoam on my car and was wondering how long should I wait to change my oil after using it? Should the oil be changed immediatly or wait maybe for a tank or two of gas. Thanks.

It should tell you right on the can. If you are running a 1/2 can into the manifold for a top cyl. cleaning I think you change the oil after the final start up.
ex.
running hot engine, pour 1/2 can in vacuum line slow, keep engine rpm up around 2000-3500 as you pour. let engine idle and stall enginewith a little seafoam. let sit one hour to over night. start, run to temp. then change plugs and oil.

It is primarily a solvent with oil used as a carrier. It is used for cleaning carbon and varnish build-up. From what I have heard others say, it does do a decent job at cleaning and is available just about anywhere. Here is a link to their directions.

I posted the link above but, if you want to read about what others think about it check out the additive forum at www.bobistheoilbuy.com.
