Hi, the previous owner of my car put some Michelin 245/45 ZR17s on the car. The tires are starting to look a little low, how much air should I be putting in them? I know you can look on the door panel for the recommended psi but I thought that was just for the factory tires. Thanks,

dont you dare put in 51lbs. thats the maximum tire pressure you can run on that particular tire. i would run 32front 35rear.
I wasn't planning on putting in 51, I don't want to die... Yeah, btwn 30 and 35 is what I was thinking. Thanks.

Since all tires are different I tend to run 6-8 # under max.
Due to diff. side wall stiffness and rubber compounds.
You can always do the chalk test to test your contact patch.
