How much are Cobra R's worth?

I recently bought a '93 mustang with authentic cobra rims on them and i would love to know how much they are worth. I am kind of in the dark about it because the only thing i have been able to compare prices with are replicas because that is all i can find. They are in perfect condition and i just put brand new tires on them. If someone can tell me what they are worth i would greatly appreciate it.

Chrome you may get a $1000, alloy maybe $600. Depends on tires and their condition as well as the rims.

They are 17" chrome and they have Ventus tires on them. Its hard to believe they are only worth a thousand though because the replicas (used) are selling close to 2000 at times. I do know that these were 8500 for the set when they were almost brand new. I just talked to a guy that works with nothing but mustangs and he seemed to think i could get around 2500 for them. Maybe they are only worth 1000 but if anyone else has an opinion i would like to hear it.

ok well are they Cobra R 5 spoke wheels? Or are they 93 Cobra twisted style? If they are cobra R's you have a 5-lug conversion then?

u might want to double check your prices , cause i dont know any one in there right mind who would pay 8500 for rims u can even buy 24 inch chrome spinners for under 8500 ..... i bought one real Chrome MOtorsport CObra R wheel 17by9 out of Diversified ford for 240 bucks a few years ago ....i will tell ya right know if the rims are in mint condtion u might be able to squezze 1200 but more like 1000 for them ...no way u are going to get 2000 for them ....and yyour buddy who works on mustangs all the time thinks u can get 2500 bucks for rims ,find out what kinda of **** he is smoking and pass it around here .....u can buy 18 inch saleens with tires for under that much

I sold my chrome cobra R's with Nitto NT555 extreme ZR's for $1200 cash. they were in near mint shape at the time (2 years ago). so many knockoffs out there now that people won't pay big cash for these generic looking wheels.

The wheels weren't even close to 8500/set when they first came out. For that kind of money you could have custom wheels made for your car. You may see replicas for sale for 2g's, but they aren't selling for that price. Ask $1200 and consider yourself lucky if you get $1000

$1000 bucks is the most I see getting for the rims. Hell, you can get 4 BRAND new authentic chrome 00R rims for $1000 (without tires).
