I am looking to get a 87 or 88 t-top. How much am I looking to spend for one in good shape? I have been out of the market for quite some time and am not sure how much they go for these days. Thanks for the help

I do not think it is a matter of how much it will cost. I really do not think that you will have to pay that much more for a t-top than a regular gt. The problem you are going to have is trying to find one in good shape. I haven't seen too many around, nevermind ones that are in good shape. They are going on 20 years old.

I bought a project car that barely ran for $400 (asking was 700) with T-tops.

I'd sell mine for 10K...
Actually I probably wouldn't get 10K
Plus, I'm not sure I'd let it go for 10k.
Disregard my 1st comment. Mine isn't going anywhere!

In all seriousness - it's getting harder and harder to find a nice T-Top Stang for sale. I'd say 7K for a Stang in great shape with low'ish miles.
