Just wondering. Have heard great things about them but haven't seen a pair for less than $1300. Which probably is a fine deal considering the #'s in this article:

I'm sure it's been posted before - it's from a few years ago. Sounds like a great bolt on if you can afford it.

How can you not afford it? If you cut corners now, you will only pay more later. Just have patience and save up.

Ive built basically the same engine, but with early gt40 heads. Its got a 600 holley, performer RPM, 1.7 roller rockers, and full length headers. If they got 400+ hp from the AFR heads, what can I make with the gt40 heads? I know theyre not as bad-ass as the AFRs, but theyre still miles ahead of the chokey E7s.

Depends how bad you want it. I have a second job to pay for the toys.

I paid just a couple bucks shy of $1300 for the 58cc, non-emissions AFR 165 for my Fairlane.
