how much does a 302 block and heads weigh

hopefully under 150 pounds

stock block with nothing in it no crank no pistons no rods,

and stock E7 heads

could it be made to weigh under 150 lbs?

those heads must be 40 lbs apeice there heavy i just took some off the other day but im no scale so

you should check into a shipping company as an alternative to UPS. I checked around and I think it would cost around $200 to have a short block shipped, so w/ heads would be more i'm sure. I know they aren't stock heads, but my Cast Iron GT-40P heads weigh 49 lbs each...I did weigh them.

stock e7te heads are like 48 lbs a piece....and the block is probably close to 100 lbs. thers a reason why engine stands have a 1000 lbs limit on them, haha

The naked short block is more like 150 lbs. + 50 lbs. each for cast iron heads (assembled), 27 lbs. each for aluminum heads. It's gonna be WAY over 150 lbs. - more like 250 + crating weight.
