I'm wondering if someone can help shed some light for me, I feel my heads flow a bit much for my current stock bottom 302, but I'm wondering if they would be a nice match for a mid-potency 327 stroker?? (nothing too wild, say 340 rwhp, 6200rpm redline).. my motor is burning oil and I'm ready for the bottom end this winter. the heads are 1.90 edelbrock 6037's that have been pretty much maxed out @ 248 intake flow @ .550 and .600...

most 327 strokers I've seen run a 2.02 valve, but ie: the trickflow 2.02 heads don't flow much more than 250 out of the box.. so I might be fine..

any ideas?

After looking at Edelbrocks specs for those heads, I'd agree that they're good heads for a 302. I also believe they'd be adequate for your 327. What kind of block are you getting for your 327?

See, that's what I keep thinking, your heads have a good 20-30 cfm over mine, I think they flow 275 or so right?? I just might have to sell these heads when the time comes.. your combo looks sweet !!
