How much HP will the stock sending unit and stock lines support?

I'm building 336 stroker topped with heavily port TFS's and a Kenne Bell 2.2 w/ meth injection. I'm gonna run a 10psi pulley and I'm thinking I'll be making around 500rwhp, maybe over 500.

For the fuel system I've got 48# injectors with Areomotive fuel rails, a Walbro in-tank 255 and a Kenne Bell boost a pump. I'm wondering if the stock sending unit and stock lines will support my setup?

I was just going to get Glen's sleeper setup but the car fund is getting drained quickly and I dunno if I can swing it.

Thoughts?

If you go to kennebell.net there are a few tech articals devoted to this topic. Kenne Bell claims that with a set up such as yours, with the boost-a-pump, that the stock lines ect can support 600 h.p. and he has the data to prove it. Kenne Bell by far has data-logged more info on this subject that just about anyone. Now I personally would not do it that way. At that H.P. level I would rather have an overkill fuel system, than be on the ragged edge of acceptable. In fact my car is going to put down 425 h.p. at the tires, and I have a complete new fuel system, tank to injectors, ect, because I would rather "have it and not need it, than need it and not have it." Plus it gives me room to grow later without having to buy anything but injectors.

Yeah, same here - I hate to scrape by with the bare minimum and end up needing it an not having it, but money's getting tight.

I'm thinking about getting an A-1000 with a tank insert and keeping the stock tank and running new lines up the front. My only concern with that is how do I still make the fuel gauge work without a sending unit?

Friend's setup was a 95 GT with a PTK T64E Kit @ 17 PSI, stock shortblock, stock cam, stock throttle body, TFS Heads, Typhoon Intake, 255LPH Pump, Vortech T Rex Pump, stock lines, stock rails, stock regulator, FMS 42LB Injectors

it made 530 rwhp at 615 rwtq through a 4R70W auto with a locked converter, car ran 104.93 MPH in the 1/8 on less boost after adding a 70mm throttle body in some cold weather, at the weight the car was at, running that mph had to be around 550 rwhp or so.

IIRC, the SN95 fuel lines and rails are little more up to the task though and more capable than fox stuff, but I could be wrong.

You can make over 500rwhp with a walbro gss340 high pressure pump and stock lines.
I would not go the aeromotive route, they are loud and burn out like clockwork.

I know the rails are supposed to be a little better but never heard anything on the lines?

The aeromotive stuff sucks on the street, the TT 03 Cobra that was around here didnt make it but a few thousand miles on the street with his, his brother has a Vortech T Trim Notch, it lasted a few years but only a few thousand miles. Glen's performance has an intank mounted Aeromotive setup that would probably last longer but their regular external mounted twin Walbro setup looks alot nicer.

Yeah, the Glen's sleeper setup with twin Walbros is actually what I'm looking at buying now.

I am using twin Pierberg pumps, quiet and dependable, made for constant duty use. and good for about 1,000 h.p. I blocked off the fuel tank where the stock fuel pump goes and retained the fuel level sender in the stock location. Tank is sumped for feeding the external pumps. Gauge works fine.
