I found a 1970 Boss 302 Engine complete from carb to pan. Looks like its been sitting for a while, but overall looks like its in really nice shape, still has the factory stickers on it. The owner told me it was one that had the "FIRING ORDER" cast into the intake spelled wrong and there weren't many of them around. Just curious what something like this is worth?

I have gone to look at several supposed to be boss motors ,none of them were .I even went to look at a "rare 69 coupe Boss 302 " turned out to be a 2 V 302 .If it is a real Boss 302 i would like to see a pic .

Did it come out of a wreck ?
I would post it on Ebay ..showing the dates on the block intake and dist .and the carburetor , You would probably get a bidding war going ,especially if someone is look for a date specific complete motor .

I actually did buy a boss 302 block ,rods and crank off Craigs list once .It was a replacement ,high nickle content race block .The block had the look of an old tarnished nickle .Bought the whole thing for $500. I sold it for $900. I really wish i had kept it ,it was a standard bore block and had new forged pistons and rings still in the box . No telling what it would be worth now .
