Selling it on here isn't the place.... to me it sounds like the "bend over" from the new engine is making you sell it. Even if it was the strongest motor known to man... I wouldn't buy it from you. Sorry.

To drive the car through the break-in period then screw yourself sounds like there is a reason... or you are spoiled little rich kid.

Whoa! Didn't see that you wanted an 01 Cobra. I retract my statement, I would not sell your car for an 01 Cobra. You just got your car to be bad@$$ and now you wanna sell it?

I'm lost here.

6-7k...you can almost get a 99+ gt for that price so dont expect too much, even though it does have a new short block

I myself would rather wait until the 05's come out they look pretty cool as for your 94 you might get 13k for it you will never and I mean never get anything over that unless you find a sucker but this world is full of them blue book in my area for privet party is around 4,215 and for suggested retail is $5,765 then again I don't know what options you have I went with the standard. That's what most people will look at is the blue book price even with all the mods. I found that out when trying to sell my Toyota turck with a lift and stuff never got what I invested in it but that's life . Hope you find a person that is willing to pay your price. Good luck man

Just out of curiousity have you taken your car too the track since you got it back? If so what kind of times did it turn? I guess if you want a new car thats your choice, but like kevin Im just wandering whats up. Is the car just slow?

That's way too much for an 01 Cobra. I just paid $23.9k for a 2003 Cobra with 3k miles. Shop around!

there is around 13k invested in this car, so what do u guys think its worth, honestly lol thanks -Jeff

It's worth whatever you can get . If you find the right buyer, maybe $10k . That's about what I'm hoping I can get for mine. But you have to find someone who wants everything you did to the car. I'm probably going to end up returning mine to bone stock and then selling all the doo-dads.

What is wrong with the sn95 WITH A NEW ENGINE! Is the 01 cobra that much better. Am I wasting my time with mine and just missing out?

No offense taken . I got the Cobra 'cause I'm cheap, and it costs me less in the long run... but I like pushrod motors better in general, for their simplicity and elegance.

the car is not slow lol, the thing moves. its just that my parents want me to get a newer car, i would like an 03 cobra but the insurance is too much, i'll be getting a 99/01 cobra. i have a few in mind. i would like to get 10,000 for it tho. i itnhk it's a good price. plus i got those black r's on it too which should help it sell.

Why do your parents want you to get a new car? You keep saying that is the reason but why are they pushing for it? I'm not getting it? Is it just the fact that they know there is going to be more things to fix/replace and they dont want the hassel? Seems wierd to me. I would at least want to take it to the track first. All that money and time just to sell it.

Totally missed my point on every aspect.

Your "new rebuild" must have been a REAL let down for you to throw away all that money.... OR you have no common sense with money (ie. LIKE a spoiled little rich kid)

Good god man.... if you really went through all that crap for this car and waited as long as you did, and the thing runs like you say it does, then there is SOOO much more to this story you aren't telling us. Plain and simple.

Almost forgot... I also never said you were trying to sell it in this thread. I was informing you that after all the stuff you've posted about this car... you would be better off to post it on ebay and not let ANYONE on here know who you are. If I bought the car, with a new motor, and then found your post about the trouble you've had and that you immediately sold the car.... I would be really worried.

ok heres the thing, when i had the blowby my parents wanted to jsut to get rid of it and get a new car but it wouldnt sell cuz we had the blowby so they said i could put a new motor in the car. but not telling me they were planning on selling shortly after i got it back. but i didn't know that. but i want ot keep the car cuz its fast as hell but it's 10 years old, and my parents want me to sell it cuz i could get around 10k for it. and they think that is perfect to put down on a new car.

Now that makes a little more sense. I can understand the feeling because it seems there is always something that needs to be replaced on these cars. But for god's sake man at least get some 1/4 times before you sell it!!

I bet you don't get over 8 for your car. Especially because you are selling it at a bad time, nobody in New Jersey is really in the market for a rear wheel drive muscle car with 140k on everything but the engine heading towards October.
