How much power is compression good for?

I was wanting to up the compression from 9.0 to 10.0 maybe 10.5. What type of power gains could I expect from these numbers? I am also thinking about porting my heads and getting a more aggressive cam at the same time.

if ur paying to get them ported you should go w/ the thumper head & cam package, i have heard good things

I've been told you gain about 15 hp per point of compression.
