How much over would you have to bore a 4.6 block out to put in CHP 5.1 Liter Stroker Kit?

Without the sleeves, is it even possible to bore out a 4.6 to 5.0 or greater? Didn't think the factory cylinder walls gave that much room

ive read a bunch of stuff that says you can only punch it out .020:, although ive heard of people going .030". correct me if im wrong, but is that CHP kit a big bore one as well, or just a stroker kit? if its just a stroker than you just have to overbore to make the walls clean, if at all.

i think the chp kit is a stroker with a .030 overbore...i requested more info from them last winter when i was looking into shortblocks but they never replied to numerous emails or calls. So i took my business elsewhere.

A bore of 3.74" (94.996mm) would theoretically give just over 5.1L but I don't think even a sleeved block is going to allow a bore that big.

Those Darton Sleeves SHM sells are pretty pricey at $1475. Might make more sense to buy a 5L stroker shortblock instead of trying to do it all with bore...

reguardless of the final displacement the way to go is big bore. the main problem of the modular platform is that the bore is too small.
