how much to install intake manifold

how much would a shop charge to install a intake manifold on a 94 gt. the intake is a trickflow street heat.

can i reuse valve cover gaskets if i change rockers?

what are the torque specs for the lower and upper intake bolts.

should be 2 or 3 hours labor. i think you could re-use valve covere gaskets but i could be wrong. the lower intake has to be tourqed down to 25 ft lbs but you have to use the correct pattern and do it in three incramints endng with 25. its really an easy swap. i could probobly do one in about an hour.

It's probably 3, maybe 4 hours of labor.

Valve cover gaskets can be re-used depending on whether they are the stockers or cork gaskets. Either way, even using stock gaskets, they are less than 20 bucks for the set.

And, you could not swap an entire intake manifold setup in an hour. I've seen it done in a hair less than 2 hours and that was by someone who's been doing it for years and years and years and years.....

whatever. i have. i did not time it but it did not take me that much more then an hour last time.

It took me about 3 hours to do one and this was working at a steady pace making sure everything was done right the first time. An hour is not impossible but I sure wouldn't be in that big of a hurry installing one.
