How much will 3:73's and a shift kit affect my times?

Right now I have a 90 gt with the aod tranny. Only mods are bbk cold air intake, off road h, 40 series flows, timing advanced to 14, tb spacer (seemed to help gas mileage a little), and minor weight reduction. I have 3:73's and a trans-go shift kit arriving tomorrow and I was wondering after the shop installs them how much time will it shave off my 0-60/quarter mile or at least a decent estimate. I'm not sure what I'm not too sure what I'm running in the quarter because the nearest track is over 3 hours away, but with just a buddy doing some timing my 0-60 is normally between 6.7-7.1 secs.
Anyway I've heard people claim to have anywhere from .2-.6 tenths shaved off from the gears/kit, does this sound about right? Anyway if anyone can inform me of what I can expect I'd be grateful and also as an added bonus what do you think I'm capable of running in the quarter with just regular street tires and the mods I currently have? And yes I know there are a lot of variables involved but just a ballpark guestimate is cool. Thank you.

well a shift kit is definatly worth a couple tenths, i mean when a stock aod is shifting you can hear it slip some so, right there you know thats worth 2 tenths usually....as for the gears, depends if you have 2.73 in it or the optional 3.27.....if it's got the 2.73 your probably lookin at a couple tenths there......
over all i'd say 3 or 4 10ths from everything......maybe more but, at a minumum thats probably about what you'll get..........

I ran 15.2s all night with everything stock but electric fan with 2.73 gears with AOD. Installed a set of 3.90 gears, bumped the timing to 16 degrees an ran 14.3s back to back. Amazing what gears can do.

Im hoping for something like that with mine. Ive got a few performance parts already on (headers, intake, tb, etc) and stock freeway gears (possibly 2.73's) and ran a best of 15.5.

Im getting 4.10's put in and a shift kit I just bought tonight.
A friend was going to mess with the timing but couldnt read the timing marks so I bought a timing indicator tape from Jegs.
Hopefully I can get down to low 14's.

should be good for mid 14's with traction

I hope so. I just put aftermarket control arms on a few weeks ago and got better tires last week.
I installed underdrive pullies a few weeks ago and Ive got a bigger MAF sensor waiting to go on.

I might be getting new heads and a cam this winter.
