How much would you be willing to spend if the T-56 6 speed manual and IRS were offered as an optional package together on the '05 Mustang GT?

I went 1200 cause thats the most I'd pay. I think getting charged for a six speed is a ripoff. When we had four speed auto's and 5 speed manuals, the auto was the more expensive tranny. Now we add an extra gear to each and the manual becomes more expensive. Sucks.

I agree with mp67. after all these years that the t-56 has been out, being charged extra would be a slap in the face. But development on a new IRS for the rear, not just one stolen from the jag/lincoln would cost something. So i chose 1200 as well.

if ford does offer a 6speed, i'd probably pay the same as i would for an auto. i doubt ford has an extra couple thousand t56's laying around, unlike their 3650's, so of course they'll charge more.

$1200 for both IRS and a 6speed sounds fair. maybe toss in a couple extras like racing/side stripes, interior bits and pieces, or something as some sort of package?

that would be sweet

I picked $1200, but I'd pay more if the package came with stripes or different rims or spoiler.

The t-56 has been available for over ten years and should cost significanlty less that a 5 speed auto. The IRS has been on the LS/Jag for how long now?

$1200 sounds like an option package price.
