[Keith5.0GT]

random question and can't find an answer...........

Not yet "old enough to know better."

[Hoytster]

I've been on here since at least 2002 and I know there are many others that have been here way before.....

Cool thanks. I see people that have been on here for that long, and that’s impressive dedication.

Kinda speaks to the site's reputation too, I'd say. I've been onboard since the beginning, but I did go away for a while; I just had other life stuff going on and wasn't really online much at all during that time. Once I started coming back online overall, I found myself back here as well.

Cool. Yeah I’ve been googling stuff my whole first year of mustang ownership, and the best info is always here so I figured I’d join. Lots of helpful information.

Stangnet isn't only one of the oldest Mustang forums around, it just might be the last that's not owned by a big corporation.

So far as I know, this is still true. All the other sites have been absorbed by this company or that one.

Yep that's what I thought. I actually joined in October 1998, didn't realize the site was brand new when I joined!

Edit: For those wondering, my join date got borked in the big stangnet crash of whatever year that was.

[Mustang5L5]

It had to be around 2001-2003 because that's when I sold my famous mark 8 and bought my 2003 GT
