Just curious, I had the s/c put on friday and it wont get dyno tuned until tuesday but they put a temporary tune on so i could drive it safely. It doesnt feel that much quicker, I havent gunned it or dogged it yet because im being easy on it but still i expected a little more even without it being tuned.

Anyway is this normal without the tune? RIght now it feels doggish

My guess is they gave you a real rich tune to keep the car safe until they can get it on the rollers. Then look out . Once in there hot little hands they will turn it into the monster you want. What blower set up, Vortech?

cool yea i can smell richness in the exhaust so i know for sure its probably a safe, rich tune

Also my gas mileage has been horrible, ive gone through 3/4 of a tank going 130 miles so i guess that explains it

You won't feel much until you hit WOT, that's when you feel the boost

Make SURE your tuner tunes the AFR for 11.5-11.8 from 3000 rpm all the way up to redline. This will insure your engine lasts.

Even with a temp tune DO NOT get on it.You will not feel the car the way it should be till its tuned.

All it takes is one blast under wot to kill the engine.SO stay out of it till its tuned.
