00sc281sc368 that is honestly the BEST setup in here as you have the whole gauge illuminated in led..
I just put my blue tri LEDs in yesterday and I wasn't satisfied with them at all. They weren't very bright, and everything still had a green tint. I think i'm the only one giving the tri LEDs a thumbs down. I'll try em again when its dark out, if its any good i'll post pictures.
no, i have the stock guages, i like the look of the stock black ones, Not a big fan of white. If I was gonna get white face guages, i'd get the el glow anyway.
Hey guys, just read through this whole thing, had a couple ideas of my own but wanted to do this as this looked really nice! So what I've read the tri-led's seem to be the concensus for the cluster and the same thing, just different size for the HVAC? Oh, and to get those results do I have to have the white face cluster? Will this work with the stock face? I'd like to keep the black back as it looks good with the rest of the car, but I'd like to go blue on the numbers. Thanks.
Funny....I was just looking at a new Alpine CD Player today and complained to the guy that the only colour choice for the illumination was RED and BLUE. I was miffed because I couldn't get it in Fords typical GREEN gauge cluster illumination. Now all I have to do is change the bulbs in the gauge cluster to match.
Wonder what my Cougar uses for bulbs?
idk about white. it's risky hehe
Risky because it's white and because of what I said or what? I read a couple pages back about somebody saying they were sanding the stock one or something, I dunno, the blue looks pretty dang awesome if I do say so myself, so I'll probably just go that way. Or red... AHH! I dunno!
