Once you have the stereo out of the box it will be VERY obvious that the first reply answered your question completely.

And there's no reason to not cut the dash. You can buy a repair panel for about $20 if you ever feel the need.

The PO's of my stang cut the dash, appears to have been with a sawzall or something, it was such a horrible job. Since then ive added 4 rear 6x9's a clarion cd player and an 18"sub that I got for free with 500watt amp. Not only will it beat the hondas in a race, It will out thump them

I just need to get the gromets for the ports and im done
