I'm about to get a new system once again (i used to have two Kenwood 12" and a 1200w Sony Xplod amp but i just put it my back seat) and i was wondering how to fit 2 12" subs in the trunk with a decent sized box. If anyone has suggestions please let me know.

It's going to take up alot of space. Once I built by box(airtight, really nice) I found out it couldn't fit. Had to recut it but then once the sub was in it, somehow it wouldn't fit. I think I cutted the hole on the wrong side, because now my sub is facing up rather than on the side. I have one 12' sub. If you want, I could give you the specs for my box and show you some pics of it.

i have 2 kicker vr 12's in a sealed box, it is a tight fit but...take out the carpet and spare tire, that gives you a lil more room and then angle the box into the spare tire well in order to get the box under the lip near the bottom of the windshield, with the spare and carpet in there, the box is to wide and tall, but once you get the tire out, you have room to shimmy it in, after that, you might want to get a buddy to help, but push the box all the way to the back seat, then put the spare back in and such, but get ur buddy to hold the box up ( u will only get it up about and inch or 2) then just work the carpet up underneath the box until its back in place..its a lil bit of work..but with those small trunks..its neccessary

instead of running two 12's, i'm going with one 12" sub in a 2 ft vented enclosure behind the rear seats.

I previously ran two 12" Orion XTR subs in an extremely small sealed box and the bass just wasn't loud enough. i'm hoping to get better results with this new sub and better box.

You can actually get a 5 cubic foot enclosure into the car without building it inside. It isn't hard if you think about it. I have had 2 12's ported in 1.77 cubes each (tuned to 30hz), and I could remove the box if needed. It just took a few minutes.
