It's GT 2002, manual. What mods are needed to get fewer than 11.8? I want mods for daily driver? And what type of s/c is good for daily driver? The gear size doesn't want it greater than 3.73 and no Nos

i suggest a centrifigul blower like the paxton novi 2000 at 12psi, forged bottom end, long tube headers, o/r x pipe, upgraded maf, 50psi injectors, 03 cobra tank/pump, bullit intake, gears, and alot of suspension work.

Why no nitrous? It's as safe/dangerous as a blower. It'd be alot cheaper to run 11's with nitrous than a blower. Alot cheaper.

s/c - $3400
forged shortblock - $3000
bullit intake - $1200
gears - $140
maf - $200~$300
exhaust - $800~1000
suspension - $600

around $10k
but look around for deals, you'll find some eventually.

I ran 11.80s with a blower, bullitt intake, and exhaust (437 rwhp) as a crappy driver. The proper suspension and tires will get you there along with decent power. 400 rwhp is plenty of power to run 11s in a full weight car with a good driver and the proper suspension. Good luck.

Man, that's what I was wanting to hear--I'm really hoping to get into the 11's this year.

With that suspension and the weight of the vert it will be tough but not impossible. Drive that mother like you stole it and Roscoe P. Coltrain is tappin your bumper and you just might do it.

Call T&J...it can be done on the stock block you're going to need some suspension work plus a set of ET Streets or Slicks. Hell if you want a power adder, get micool's JT Trim and intercooler, that will make one hell of a combo

I paid just under $4k for my cams and block with labor. I don't think I have enough hp to crack 11s, but thats why I bought an NOS nozzle kit recently to replace my dry kit. With a 200 shot I still have a great daily driver and the ability to easily hit 11s at the track

talk to total performance about a turbo kit.
it is the most reliable of the 3 power adders.
i think marc hit 11.70's with drag radials & 10.90's with slicks.
cost will probably run you $5700-$7000 installed
then another $1000 for uca/lca/drag radials/subframes

What about the drivetrain? I don't think a stock 8.8" and T-3650 would stand up to much of that.
