My friend's waxed part of my roof to see if it would help my wore-out paint job any so my car would look a bit nicer until I got it repainted.Well,I was working on my buddies 1990 GT when he did this, and I forgot he did it and now I can't get the wax off.We never went to de-wax the car. What should I use?

Get some Meguiers paint cleaner, that'll take it off, but you'll have to wax it again when your done.

YOu could also try washing your car with Dawn. That suppose to take any protective finish off. My personal preference would be to use Meg's paint cleaner.

Go with Dawn. The Zaino how-to page recommends it.

You just wash your car like normal but use dawn instead of car soap?
