My ex-mechanic put non ATF fluid in my PS pump when he replaced it, some brown milky junk, and now it sounds unbelievably aweful. Just wondering how to drain it all. Is there a connector or some sort of valve on the rack (new AGR) that I can do it from. Also how much fluid to fill back up?

Thanks for the help.

btw. anyone in Arizona (East Valley/Chandler area) that works on cars on the side that can help with any future maintenance/mods?

What I done is just pull the belt, then spin the pulley by hand until you have ran your new fluid through. Just pull the line on the bottom of the pump and put it in a jug or something and spin the pulley and keep topping it off with your new fluid until new fluid comes through. I can't remember how much it takes to fill it up.

When you disconnect the line on the bottom of the resivor, just cut it with a razor and buy a new one. If you start pulling and twisting those nipples break off. ALL Fords use the same resivor and Isee it all the time. Every 5.0L Mustang I've had leaked from those lines anyways, and a new hose can be bought in bulk for a few bucks at the auto parts store.
