Inline valves -> High Port, canted valves -> twisted wedge
if twisted wedge, dual springs are track heats, single springs are regular twisted wedge, copperbronze exhuast seats are R heads

It's fine here in talk. I didn't order the Track Heat heads, but still have the dual springs. IIRC, Track Heats don't have the thermactor holes drilled through the heads, whereas the TW's do.

The thermactor holes are the ones at either end of the cylinder head for the emissions crap to bolt up to. What are the numbers on the heads? I'm sure someone here may be able to find you an answer to which heads they are.

mine has a big threaded plug in either end of the head if that is what you are talking about? its like it necks it down to a 3/8 bolt from a 1/2" one i can take pictures if need be.
even if it is the lesser head are they good power making heads? what AFR head are they comparable too.

these are the numbers on them.

I'm shooting for 500 N/A with my new bottom end I'm putting together. Its a 4.000 boss block with a 3.00 CHP Dominator kit, 0 balanced with 8cc domed pistons.

On a stock shortblock, its pretty easy get 400 with them.

Also, TW heads are not dual spring, what looks like a second spring is a damper.

the twisted wedge is the smallest head they make for the SBF and its a really good head. the next best up are the CNC ported TWs and then the highports etc etc

Might have to get a Dart block but don't want to and if I do, then 363 instead of 331. Thoughts on what I've already bought so far.......
