How to install Headilghts (bulbs)??

Hey everyone,

So I got a visit from a guy in brown yesterday. He brought me my smoked headlighs which I recently purchased. My 02 GT came w/ the all clear headlights when I bought it (which are for sale now, PM me if interested), but I really prefer the look of the smoked headlights. Anyways, I got a set of high intensity blue bulbs w/ the headlights, which I figured were going to be already in the headlights themselves (this is not the case). My question is: How do you change out the bulbs?? I tried turning the round black housing last night, but didn't want to break anything. Thanks guys!!

Both headlight housings have two metal pieces that slide out. Take them out to remove the headlight housings. This will make it easier.

Now just twist the bulbs out.

Turn the lights on while shined on a flat surface to make sure they are both level.

The black rings do need to be removed by turning ccw and then the bulb comes out.. Its Really easy.

Exactly,each housing has 2 and they pull straight up.They may pull hard so dont be to scared of that...pull both retainers completely out.I would also lay a towel or something on your bumper to rest the housing on so you dont scratch your paint.
