well to make things alot easier get the coil wiring kit, it has a plug that goes to your coil and harn. and has open ends already there so you just have to plug the wires in and go, plus if you ever take it off you dont have any cut wires/and it take like longer unmounting the box than undoing the wiring. Plus the wires are the same color so you just plug the same wire to the same color wire in the harness. then its just ground and batt.

MSD part# 8874 MSD 6 to Ford TFI wiring harness

Yup that is the best way to wire it up with the harness.

Yes get a window switch, and it is very imp. to set the micro switch right (takes some tinkering to get just perfect).

I never used a pill in mine even though I had a 5500, 5800 and a 6200 but it's a nice feature. If you're worried about over revving than you should look into a window switch. I had a WOT switch only and just lifted slightly to turn off the spray.

If you have a window switch you can program when the n2o turns on and off. With a pill you will just hit the desired rpm of the pill and it will be just as if you hit the stock rev limiter except at the rpm pill you have plugged in.

the switch will just make sure your at WOT, as you want to be when spraying.

a window switch will make you spray at a set rpm "window" or range of rpm, this is important as you want to start spraying at around 3,000 rpms (more imp. with a wet kit so you dont get fuel drop off, or fuel that will fall out of the n2o mist and puddle) or so and prob. stop when your combo is at its peak power making rpm or just a hair over. This makes the WOT switch or micro switch imp. as you can rev. to 3,000rpms without being at WOT.

so you should run both for all around safty of system.

just to make sure i understand, the WOT switch will know when i'm stomping on the car and when i'm not so the nos doesn't spray just cause i rev it up to 3000 rpm and the window switch will allow the nos to start flowing at say 3000rpm and stop at whatever i set it as, say 5400rpm(???) since my car is stock. the switches sound a lot better than the pill. the window switch and WOT switch don't come with the kit, i'd imagine, so might you have a part number for each so i can get both.

yes you get the idea,

Every n2o kit I have seen has some kind of micro switch to activate the n2o at the throtal, either with a actual switch or with something that reads the TPS voltage (I think zex uses a box that plugs into the tps).

as far as the pills go they go onto/plug into the window switch and that window switch then plugs into your msd or tach drive/n2o wireing so it can see RPM's and cut the ground off from the kit so it wont work until it says to.

A window switch is a box about 3in by 2in or so, its not a actual switch like the micro switch you can see a pic of each in a summit/jegs catalog look for micro switches and look under MSD stuff for the pic of a window switch.

between 5,400-5,800 as long as you have it off at the 6250 fuel cut off (that = big boom due to realy lean cond.) but anything after 5,500 is a waste with a stock motor.
