Email this guy, shielabrooks@aol.com

He is the originator of the "tach bracket" that allows you to mount your tach to the right of the steering wheel without cutting ANY visible holes in your dash. A lot of people have used his bracket, and I have seen it in person myself, its a top notch part for the price.

Here's a pic of it...

Yeh, the one you bought is the one they copied off of the guy I listed above. His is only like $35 shipped, and he is the originator, not a copier like UPR.

I mounted mine up on the dash so I could see my dash pod better. I drilled three holes, but oh well. I think it looks really clean.

You also have two or 3 more wires on the bottom I think if you v8 you don't cut any if your 4 o 6 you cut one or the other.

I ran mine to the right side harness that plugs into the factory cluster. The ground wire just went under the dash to the fuse box. The ignition, lighting, and tach source can all be ran off the factory cluster's harness. Id give you detailed directions but I can't remember the exact wires to splice into. I do know the tach source is a brown wire with a yellow stripe, on my car at least. If you look at the coil you will see this wire. Then just look at the right side harness that plugs into cluster. It too will have this same wire, that is the direct tach source.

I agree with Paul. I've had the same mount for 1 1/2 years and love it. No holes to drill in the dash. Easily visible and doesn't obscure the road. Email the address Paul gave. They charge $40.

I have a few pics on my web site. http://groups.msn.com/Waynes94GT

yeah awesome pics, im getting my pic up asap, just bought a 94 GT couple weeks ago... takin some shots tomorrow.... love the 94's and 95's, the dash for one looks 100 x better then the earlier ages, and the body looks better then the 96+ cause of the less bulky back ends... thats my opinion anyways... the newer convertables with a roll bar are really clean looking tho... thats the only acception to me.. as far as looks

Merry Freakin Christmas to you! Damn... all I got was a nice floor jack and "chrome" car stands. Don't ask about the "chrome" part. Dad said that's all they had at Sams. They are some Heavy Duty suckers though...
