how to put an 96 alternator in a fox

hey guys my friend and I both have 5.0's .. Today we went to a junk yard and bought alternators from a 96 mustang and a 94 mustang. my question is how do i install this alternator to replace my stock one,, also how many amps are the alternators.Thanx alot

the 94 should be a 3g alt (130AMP)...do a search or PM JRitcher (SP?) he has the links for it.

For the right way to do the wiring. Some people will tell you that you can skip the wiring upgrade, but it will catch up with you sooner or later. A fire in the wiring harness is ugly and expensive.

Under no circumstances connect the two 10 gauge black/white wires to the 3G alternator. If the fuse blows in the 4 gauge wire, the two 10 gauge wires will be overloaded to the point of catching fire and burning up the wiring harness.

Why yes, I have a very large jar of paste next to my computer. I still have problems peering around all the things stuck to my screen.

ok thanx alot guys and just one more question, The 96 alternator will fit with proper modifications ,right.And also with my under drives on right now can i put my underdrive pully on the new alternator with out any problems.

I am running underdrives (MAC power and amp)...no real problems.
