what is the best way to get error code readouts besides volt meter and check engine light. I Just called autozone and they can only read 96 and up. also what all does the tweecer do?
I've heard that places like Walmart sell a code reader for under $50. Never looked for myself though. For me, using a paperclip and counting the CEL flashes works very well.
Tweecer is used to change the pre-programmed settings in your car's computer. Usually used by guys with alot of highpower mods.
as Silver said, you can get a code 'reader' for under 30 bucks at the parts store or wally mart (in some places).
code scanners and so on, cost a lot more but can allow for streaming and tuning, depending upon the device.
