What has to be removed and how to you go about it, to remove the gages so that you can replace the dash lights. My left turn indicator has gone out.

I was so happy that I didn't have to take them out to change the heater core, but now I have to anyway.

Thanks.

Use a pocket screwdriver to remove the headlamp switch and hazard switch. There are 2 tabs on each towards the outside that hold them in. Remove the steering column cover (screws from the bottom), remove the knee bolster and small steering column to dash cover, remove the cluster cover, and then remove the cluster(2 harnesses and the speedo cable), and there you go.

I have nothing productive to add!

Something that might help as well -- sometimes it's very difficult to get to the speedo cable to unclip it from the back of the cluster. If you work at it and have trouble, follow the cable under the hood and there is a bolt that holds it to the framerail. Unbolt it from there and it will give you more slack to pull through the firewall and unclip it.

Now that's a good idea.
