how to remove header

how does the passenger side header come out on a 87 gt. Do you need to remove the started and drop it out the bottom?

nope just unbolt. if you still have the engine lift hooks on it...it will be a bitch to get off. lol. good luck! btw...save those hooks cause you might need them one day.

how does it come out then? does it drop out the bottom or pull out the top? I just cant seem to get this thing out.

Just take the air intake and air injection stuff off and it comes right out. What is it hanging up on?

ok got it out, sorry I sholud have mentioned I'm a novice when it comes to any mechanical work. I was trying to take it out from the bottom and it was catching on the starter. Thank you for your help guys!

Well thats deff not a sawzall. Must be some sort of a space age tool, maybe NASA uses one of those devices?
