How to remove M U S T A N G

I need to replace the emblem on my trunk lid MUSTANG but it is double wall. Any tricks on how to remove these letters?

They are a push pin back that goes into barrell keepers. Just gently pry them out, or grab em with some grips and pull them out. You may need new keepers, and I have found the new plastic ones quite tight. You may may have to redrill.

Thanks for the quick response. So how do you put the new ones in? Do I attach the barrells and just push it in?

No problem, and it is your lucky day since I have just been put on the ban list. Push in the barrells first, I had to redrill some of the plastic ones because they were just too tight, them push on the letters and the pins expand the barrells to hold them tight.
