Does anybody have a good write-up on how to remove & re-install the rear quarter windows in a 67 coupe?

My quarter windows are horribly pitted so I bought a very nice set off eBay, but now I'm a bit stumped both on removing the old windows and installing the new ones ...

Thanks!

You'll have to take the back seat out, both pieces.... and the side covers to get at it.

I JUST took mine out before sending the car out for paint, so from memory:

Remove rear seat & interior quarters, watershields, etc.

The 1/4 cap weatherstrip peice (in the door sill) needs to come off, and I was removing all my w/s anyway so out it came.

Looking from the interior to inside the quarter, there are four bolts, two at the top and two at the bottom that need to come out. The window frame has access holes the to allow you to get a socket on it, but you may have to move it up and down a bit to line them up.

This will loosen the window and the assembly that guides it up and down. I did not remove my regulator, but there is only one arm coming from it that needs to slide out of it's channel. I had no problem with that.

Once everthing is loose, just tilt the assmebly forward and work it out of the quarter panel. I can't remember if I took it out in one peice or the glass first then the guid assembly, but it wasn't hard. It took maybe 20-30 minutes tops.
