I thought there was a little clip you pushed back and then the wiper would just pull right off. Tried that, no luck....am I missing something?

Use a straight blade screwdriver to force the wiper blade off of the shaft on the wiper arm.

Then his next post would be "how do I touchup the paint around my cowl?"

I never like using screwdrivers there. If they're not rusted up -- you can usually pull them off with just fingers. If they are -- carefully get them off and clean them up so you can use just your fingers.

Perhaps I should have said "pocket screwdriver" then. Prying towards the windshield should not damage the paint on the cowl, but good point regardless.
