How To Route Your Spark Plug Wires

My question is how do you route your spark plug wires the Ford way I saw something on another form They mention that this was the Ford way to route your spark plug wires you'll have 1 and 6 do a little S maneuver like this.
It's important because crossfire can hurt your engine? Is this true?

Yes. Keep the #5 and #6 separated as much as possible.

That's for the reply do you have pictures on how my spark plug wires should look like

It doesn't matter what they look like, just route the 5 and 6 so they don't leave the distributor next to each other and they're at opposite ends of the separator looms the whole way down.

Ok and why do the 1 and 6 have to make a little S maneuver ?

Don't tie-wrap or tape the wires together in a bundle.
Use some separators like this:



This is from O'Riley's Auto Parts; Advance Auto Parts has them too. The part number is 3677 for both stores.

AutoZone may have them as well, but they didn't come up using a search.
